This proposal offers a half-day adventure in the Punta Loma Nature Reserve, a protected area that is known for its colony of sea lions. The activity is ideal for nature lovers and includes panoramic views of the area. Weather permitting, participants will enjoy the beautiful beaches, cliffs, and vastness of Golfo Nuevo as they paddle for about an hour in sturdy double kayaks. The adventure begins at Playa El Pozo, 12km south of Puerto Madryn. Here you will receive a briefing from the guides and a technical talk on equipment use and navigation tips. After a 20-minute drive, participants will approach the sea lions in a non-threatening manner in the hope that they will interact spontaneously. This activity is also an opportunity to experience the ecosystems of the Patagonian Steppe. Wildlife such as cormorants, gulls, terns, and petrels can be observed.
